Lift kit issue

I’m trying to put my 3in lift kit on and i’m running into an issue with taking off the sway bar. This washer is moving and it’s not suppose too

I’ve already tried

 

It’s common, it’s not necessarily not supposed to move, it’s just press fit
Sometimes there are flats, sometimes there is an Allen cut into the end which you can use with a wrench instead of a socket, and if all those fail you cut it off and go get another, it’s just an end link, it is a wear item

You can put a hex/allen into the stud where your socket is. Then use a wrench on the nut.

 

why are you getting a 3 inch lift?

 

i just cut a notch in some flat stock aluminum to fit in the narrow gap to keep it from spinning... didn't have a open end wrench thin enough.

 

Just did that last week. These Knipex work the best since they have thin jaws with wicked sharp teeth.
