I figured I'd try and hit up the forums to try and meet some fellow off-roaders. Meeting new, like-minded people can be tough (I only moved to CA two years ago).

Anyways, my fiance, dog, and I are going out for a new years trip (12/29-1/1) somewhere around SoCal. My 1st gen Tacoma is pretty well equipped for multiple day trips and some decent off-roading. We've done Gold Mountain in it and other more moderate trails so we're not shy to some actual off-roading.

    Anyone want to meet up/join?

You don't mention your general location or where you might go.
I'll be out in the Mojave for the NY...

I'm in Long Beach. We haven't decided on a specific place yet; we've been keeping our options open! But, we had Calico, Johnson Valley, Mojave, and Glamis, Anza Borrego areas all in mind.

Well, I'll probably be out around Randsburg with a couple buddies (not Taco owners) if you want to come out this way... We did Gold Mtn this last July, so we're always up for some good wheeling too.
Do you have a 2-way radio?

That's funny you'll be out near Randsburg, we were there and off-roading nearby like two weeks ago! Thanks for the invite but I think we're going to try a different spot. Enjoy it!
