    Hello! I got a 2022 Tacoma
Access Cab SR5 Pickup 4D 6ft bed that I just bought (being specific In case it changes on what I’m asking). It was in an accident and there’s some things that are not letting me move forward. SRS codes show occupancy sensor disconnected. (B1650). I know I need the sensor but there’s a third connector that I’m not understanding where it should go. Everything seems good connected but those three (which 2 of them I know go into the occupancy sensor). In the front I’m seeing two cables disconnected, one of them with connector and the other one just seems that they cut the wires. Im wondering what goes in there since on the grille it doesn’t look that there’s place for a proximity sensor (I had a 2020 Tacoma TRD SPORTS which had it). I’m wondering if the grill is not the one that should go and there’s a sensor in the front or if that connector and cut wires should be connected to something different. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m leaving some pictures attached to explain better what’s goin on. Thanks!

Looking at 2 of the plugs they are for the airbag sensors, note the yellow tape. I would check to see if the sensors are installed and if so plug them on.

First off run your VIN to see just what the truck was equipped with when it left the dealer. Toyota's website had an Owner's section where I did that with multiple vehicles before purchasing.

In your first picture, your hand is holding the Fog Lights harness, but it is not clipped in where it would be from the factory. Plus, if you had fogs another harness would plug in there taking the power to each side. Below your hand and to the right of the picture there appears to be something that could resemble the front grill radar sensor plug.

Second picture shows the same harness if I'm not mistaken. The SR5 I do not believe would have had the front radar sensor. Yes, my statement is contradictory with the statement above regarding the radar sensor. That would be in the VIN info.

Third picture you don't say where that is, for comment's sake I will assume it is under a seat. You say this vehicle was in an accident, perhaps the seat was replaced with one of another year or functions such as heater, etc.. Seat replacements can happen because the blood or urine can't easily be cleaned. When I have been under my driver's seat it is very tight, and the connectors are up high - take a good look with a mirror.

Thanks for the help. I went ahead and run the VIN at the website. Its been great. It does have the front radar sensor. The guy who sold it to me replaced the grill for an older model and it dosent have the space to attach the sensor. I might have to get a newer grill with that option.

Regarding the Airbag, i know that the two 12 pin connectors go into the Aibag Occupant detector computer (pn: 89952-35020). But im not finding yet where does the third connector goes. Id have to get a better picture of that one to see where it comes from. Thanks again that website has been of great help. Ill add that some Official Toyota Parts Websites are also of great help since they also show diagrams.

For that third connector, look at S40 on page 2 for the wiring and page 4 for the connector outline. Seat heater schematic attached below.
