    It’s not the “automatics”… it’s the “circuit boards”… the reason people throw away so much these days. What he has is no different than what is in laundromats across the country. The benefit is proper machine sizes.

    I call those useless electronis in my general term "automatics" since they are the so called "control board" or "control module". I can try to repair some if they had the capacitor, transisrtor blown; however, when it get to the IC level of the circuitry, I have to donate the entire board and replace with new, which usually is quite costly.
