I broke a front tooth eating a crispy hushpuppy a couple years ago...had to get a crown...and be teased/called "queen" because of it. lol

Anyway, I have Delta Dental and it still cost me almost $1K for the root canal/porcelain crown...because front teeth take more time to install to look natural.

Back teeth are less expensive.

Can't believe you sandpapered the sharp tooth. lol

 

I used 1000 grit if that makes you feel better. Just had to dull out the sharp edges. My front 4 top teeth are all implants. I ate a concrete sandwich when I was 12 on my bmx bike and still had to ride my bike 3 miles back home with a messed up face. Ohh the good ol times. Kids and cell phones have it good now a days.

Family stayed up to bring the New Year in for 2024…probably not going to happen for 2025.

I do what I have to to make my mouth feel better. Dental office is closed today just my luck. Guess I have to wait to call tomorrow. Of course I had to break a tooth during the holidays.

 

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but tomorrow is New Year's day. I doubt you will find any doctor's office open. Even my dog's vet texted me a message today that they will be closing at noon today and not re-open until the 2nd.

 

It is presently raining cats and dogs in the Philly burbs; I picked up a scrap stove earlier today, and it shifted, causing my truck lights to come on. However, I don’t feel like getting soaked to shut them off!

I have already napped on the couch once after work so I'm just going to wish you all a happy new year while I am still awake again!

Ill be asleep here shortly. Too much traffic everyone drives with their heads in their asses. None us drivers at the cab company like this time of the year for this reason. Everyone is in a rush to cut you off only to be at the next light ahead. Holidays creates chaos on the roads. Anywho hope everyone has a good night. Happy new years all

 

I have to chuckle about you going to bed early...it's a smart move...for us older folks. (I'm 58, wife is 4.5 yrs younger)

Definitely agree the safest place to be is "off the roads!"

Wife and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner at 5pm...all the older folks were in there.

When we left an hour later, it got busy AF!!!

I got half an 18oz steak I will cook with my eggs in the morning...and some of those delicious rolls with the butter/honey mix! Oh Yeah!!!
