1997 3.4 to newer 3.4 motor swap

    update: ive added my own ground wires from fire wall to motor and negative battery terminal to motor with no difference. i looked up if a faulty speed sensor can effect motor performance and it lists the exact issues I'm having. i attached a picture of a plug that comes down from injector wiring harness that comes down on the driver side with the transmission plugs can anyone tell me what its for or where it goes? i cannot find what it is or where it goes online to save my life.

    Is your 4WD working? There's a plug there for the ADD actuator on my truck. But mine is an '03, so perhaps your truck is different. But may be worth checking that you don't have a disconnected wire coming up from the ADD actuator or transfer position indicator
