How long after you had the truck did you remove the stickers? I’m worried it’ll mess my paint up mines a 2021

I’m getting ready to head out and install this new mod I saw on Kloie’s video. It’s going to turn off the license plate lights when I go into reverse, hopefully get rid of the glare in my back up camera. The harness is the brain child of a couple guys on TW. I will give a shout out when I remember their names.

Can't speak for my man, but I just removed mines on a 21 Silver Sky Metallic and there was light ghosting. I used the 3M rubber wheel in a DeWalt drill. Cleaned it up with mineral spirits and hit it with Mequiars cleaner wax. Looks good enough.

Triggered = (I Find/See someone's Truck with an extremely well maintained, clean, undercarriage)
Triggered = (I See Marker Lights on your Truck on the front grille, and I will call them Rapter Lights untill I the end of TIME)

Got a v2 grill from yotawerks. Seeing as that this is truly aesthetic…. I like that the pattern is larger and matches the tread, and sorta matches the molle headache rack.
Now I have to move my lightbar lower.

My truck was built in Oct 23, I believe I did the decals around May/June 24... no issues, I didn't even need to use heat. They peeled off clean. I cleaned the spot with 70% iso-alcohol, then hit the spot with a finishing polish and iso again. Applied with wet method and waxed over a few days later.

 

U r gonna absolutely love it. I have it as well. It works a treat. I've never dealt with Puppy, but Dave is beyond a stand up guy!!!

 

Do yourself a BIG favor and choose to ignore that user like I did!

 

Added a Weather Tech hood bug deflector. Installation was cake, but not thrilled with how much more force it takes to close the hood. Triggered the little horn chirp a few times trying to close the damn thing. I can see the edges of the deflector are coming in contact with the tops of the headlights- Think that might be the tight spot. Gonna pop the thing off, potentially later, and try and drill out a bit of material around the screw holes on the deflector (only by the headlights) to see if I can get another couple MM of clearance above the headlights and make the hood close normally.



Up next are the pro grille, door badge blackouts, and tri-color grille badge (gray scheme from Tacoma Lifestyle) that should arrive Friday-ish.

 

I've heard great things about both gentlemen and their harnesses; I met @Puppypunter when he installed my harness for me (I only had one usable arm at the time). It's been a couple years but I still remember what a genuinely helpful and kind person he was.

 

Yesterday I got a baby brother for the Tacoma. A 2025 Camry SE.
I love the truck but it's gas milage around town sucked - 14 to 15 mpg. It's a heavy truck.
The little guy gets 48 mpg in town.
