Power inverter

I’ve been searching 25’s and noticed dealers show a charge for the inverter when it clearly shows its part of package. Anyone run into this?

 

Longbed? I seem to remember back when I was looking I would see the extra inverter line item on longbeds only.

 

My 24 had that charge listed as well (didn't pay it, dealer waived charges for all the non-factory options). I think it was for the outlet in the truck bed, not the inverter itself.

You've found a skanky dealer or one that's accidentally monkeyed the listing up. It shouldn't be listed that way on the window sheet.

 

Look at and/or ask for window sticker if the vehicle is built or near built. From lots of searching I saw some of the linking to dealer web content could be inaccurate but a point comes even before it is to the dealer when you can have a copy of the window sticker.

My long bed TRD OR only has the one line item on window sticker that's not in the packages description.

You want to work from sticker only regardless. That will not show things a dealer might add or ways they might pad things for their vs your benefit.
