2020 TRD off-road. Someone please school me on the differences as far as flex, droop, etc comparing 2” lift blocks with stock leaf springs on rear vs AAL, vs complete 2” springs. Positive and negatives of both. Thanks

With tacoma oem springs, the block provides no improvements to the rear suspension. The block will induce an axle wrap.
AAL will stiffen the rear to help with sagging under a payload with minimal performance improvements.
Go for a complete spring and shocks to get your desire flex, droop, etc

From what I've read over the years, anything more than a 1" block in the rear is baaaaaaaaaaad!

If you are changing it , do it correctly . New pack with correct shim
Add a leaf not too bad but then your just adding to oem springs

Too late for add-a-leaf, they are only effective on young springs. It will lift the truck and sag as all the stress is transfered onto the spring.

Either 1" block or upgrade springs at this point.
