Hey guys I’m doing a AT drain and fill and I can’t get the AT temp light to activate for warm up mode. I’ve tried repeatedly. The light does come on when I turn on the key. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do note that fluid temp must be 95-115F, the original info in that thread is incorrect. It was changed in 08 per TSB 0129-08 for all variants of the A750 transmission.
You can also use a scan tool if you have one that can read trans temp.

I just shot the pan on mine with an IR temp gun, everything I've read on it says it's the pan is about 2 degrees colder then what the truck's ecu sees.

Thanks for the replies. I must have missed it when it first came on. It suddenly came on solid after about 10 minutes. Everything else turned out good. 170,000 miles so far! Did front, rear, transfer and transmission today.
