Look for a rack system. Need to fit multiple kayaks on top. Would also like to add potential for Yakima skybox option. So it needs to allow for clamps. However, the other challenge is the angled ARE canopy.
Kayaks are between 6 and 12 feet.
    What recs do yall have?

I would start by contacting ARE and checking that there is enough structure actually built into it to support additional load. Not all caps are built to have additional racking added to it. This would be one i would expect not.
If you just want to send it. I would do 2 Yakima load bars on the cab and one drilled and bolted to the cap near the back. This would give you thr options of long items and short items that would fit only over the cab.

After transporting 2 fishing kayaks uptop I recommend laying them flat and stacking if possible I tried just mounts and they were way to much of a sail for those. But mine are each 36" wide

I'm not a rack expert but I'm not sure you will be able to fit a 12' long kayak anywhere with that current configuration without some bubba engineering to level the rack to accommodate the 12' length.

I would say your current setup isn’t really gonna allow for anything like what you are wanting. Not length or weight wise. If you do find a solution errr a band aid to accommodate your needs, I imagine lots of profanity and headaches in your future.

I’d drop back and punt. Ditch your current cap. Recouping some funds that can be spent on a flat cap that can accommodate weight. Then you open yourself up to lots of possibilities with racking that could span the entire length, be easier to work with and carry the load comfortably.

Maybe old-school high-lift towers (like Thule’s) mounted to bolt-on gutter mounts drilled and fitted to the upper sides of the shell?
