Does anyone have the torque specs for the intermediate shaft bolt to steering column, the steering column mounting bolt? Haven’t been able to find much in google searches.

The manual shows 26ft/lb for the pinch bolts on the primary(rag joint) to secondary intermediate shaft at the joint collar. I just replaced my rag joint shaft (under the dash, connecting to the column, and torqued that pinch bolt to 26ft/lb as well.

Thank you! Do you know what the manual says for the cross bolt that mounts the column to the body?

The only other spec I can find for the column is for “Steering Column Assembly Set Nut & Bolt”. 19ft/lb.

I imagine that since we can't easily find the spec it may not have one, just make it tight. Another option I would try if absolutely necessary would be set the torque wrench to say, 20ft/lb and put it in reverse to loosen the bolt. If you can’t turn the bolt with 20ft/lb, raise it in 5lb increments until you reach the break away point.
