    Nothing planned for today besides the usual watch and training with the pup.

    I am looking at all the holes on the side of the chimney that need to be caulked. But I’d need to rent a longer ladder to reach it. I think it was part of the hornet hive being there…

    I was contemplating renting a long ladder today with it being nice out but it’s too windy for me to be up 20+ feet trying to caulk it :rofl:

    years ago, before we moved in the chimney was struck by lightning and “blew” some of it off. It had to be rebuilt but there seems to be voids and they didn’t do a great job. Over the years the chimney has settled a little too.

    I took the outdoor decorations down yesterday, minus lights over the garage. Took all the ornaments off the tree this morning and will set that outside.

    Need to take a window ac out of the window and put it in storage.

    Most of our decorations are inside...which, we gathered and need to put back into boxes/plastic storage tubs.

    We have a wall Christmas tree since acquiring kittens...that needs to come down...that's easy.

    Wife and I are spending NYE at home...our adult kids have their own plans.

    It's a somewhat slow day at work...archiving some monthly folders and straightening out my desk.

    Definitely taking time to remind/train young Airman regarding C17 Reparable Parts they bring to us.

    Documentation is key and big part of our annual Audits.

    Also, directing deliveries to Receiving and obtaining documents from drivers so assets can be processed.

    The dynamics of the job I'm assigned to seems like, "it's all over the place", lol!
