    Hi Everyone!

I’m slowly putting together my list to upgrade my audio. I have done a bunch of searches and have read a bunch of threads as well as articles on Crutchfield. I still have questions so I’d appreciate the help.

I plan to run a Pioneer DMH-WC6600NEX. I like that I can flush mount it and it has all the features I need.

Speakers - Plan to run 6x9’s in the front and 6.5’s in the rear doors. I have found a few options on Crutchfield that seem like decent options.

    Like these: AudioControl's PNW-69 and AudioControl's PNW-65
Happy to hear others recommendations. Trying to keep the budget @ $200-350 /set. Not top shelf but better than average is what I’m looking for.

Dash speakers - Hmmm some help here would great. I have been leaning towards DS18’s since they are plug and play. Seems like most dash speakers need to be modified to fit which sorta makes me nervous. Should it? Are they hard to install? Will they fit under OEM mesh screen in dash? Is the speaker quality worth the installation for something else? Feel free to recommend options.

4 channel AMP - Definitely but how many watts? I know the speakers I mentioned before can handle 75RMS each which can handle a 4 channel 300 watt amp but do I need 300? Would 200 be enough for an Access Cab? I will not be running a dedicated subwoofer. I am looking for quality sound, not worried about thumping base.
Research has led me to a few amps that are AB class and 4-channel:

    Morel MPS 4.400 200 watts

    Rockford Fosgate's Punch P600X4

Feel free to chime in about these or recommend others. Both of these seem like quality options that will have low noise and good power for full rich sound.

    Thanks for taking a look.

Amazing I can’t get any advice even though I did my homework, did searches and read articles. Instead of just posting and hoping for help or being told to do searches.

    TW…

Can I get some help? Mostly on 200 or 300 watt amp and dash speaker installs. Thanks.

Get all matching speakers, including tweeters
If you go with the AudioControl, get the component set that includes tweeters

for amps, depends on your level of install. Micro amps like the kicker key are popular. A larger 4ch will require a bit more effort and either need to go under a seat or on the back wall. Not hard by any means, but certainly a factor.

if you go with audio control speakers, they make the ACM series of amps that are loved by all that use them

Hi. First off, you should fill in your profile so people know the year/configuration of your truck.

I assume you're in a 3rd gen if you're talking dash speakers. I just did sound deadening and stereo upgrades in my 2nd Gen AC so I can give you some related advice.

I went with a similar Pioneer head unit, 6x9 components in my front doors and 6.5 speakers in the rear. I matched these with a 4 channel amp with 100W RMS per channel and it is LOUD when I want it to be. I can't turn it up past about 40% volume before it's deafening inside the cab with thw windows up. I think a 75W RMS per channel amp with appropriate speakers would be more than fine for an AC.

I also added a Kicker powered sub and recommend adding more low end but you can do that later if you want. I didn't want to lose lots of precious AC cab space so I chose not to do a separate sub/amp. I would go ahead and size the power cables for a 4 channel plus a powered sub just in case you feel like you need more bass after the main speakers are in. That way it's an easier upgrade should you go that route in the future.
