Does anyone have any recommendation on a specific headlight restoration kit to get that yellow hue and oxidation off?

Not a kit, but wet sand paper in grits 300 to 800, clean and dry the lens with isopropyl alcohol and then spray the lens with a a couple coats of 2k clearcoat.

I used the Meguiar’s on my 10yr old Taco. Then I used the Cerakote on my wife’s 12yr old 4Runner. Hands down, the Cerakote was the much better result. It was simple and turned out AMAZING! No sanding and lights came out VERY clear.

    I would highly recommend it.

I used the Chemical Guys restorer with a 3 inch pad on my DA, then sprayed with Meguiar's headlight coating. Just did it last fall so not sure how long it will hold up, but even if I repeat yearly it's much better than a new set of headlights.

I’ve had several people buy the cerokate kit here also. I’m having second thoughts on a full head light replacement after reading the bulb change recommendation from my last post. However, I still want to change my fog lights completely. Thinking of Baja Designs Amber.

I used the Cerakote headlight restoration kit on mine. They came out great, and based on my experience with using Cerakote Trimcoat I'm expecting this to last a very long time.

Just another Cerakote vote. It works better than any of the others I tried and actually lasts.

I definitely like the Trimcoat. Cleaned up the wife's Rav4 so well that 6 months later the rear bumper was replaced and you can't tell the difference between the new piece and the rest of the trim by the colour.

We have a variety of options, from street-legal to off-road setups. We just came out with our Gen 2 SAE, which is our street legal option and provides more intensity and a sharper cutoff than the previous SAE. If you wish to go with our Sport version, it is recommended for off-roading use only. Our "Baja Amber" also helps with harsh weather or dust, so it is a great option if you encounter those elements frequently. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! I can gladly assist you.
