    Hello!

    2019 Off-Road TRD, 50k miles

Check engine light, loss of power, lurching when shifting, diagnostic code P0348.

Found the wires at the connector chewed through like a few on the forum have before! Figured easy fix. Replaced the connector I got from partsgeek (soldered, insulated, careful with wiring order). No dice. Went ahead and replaced the sensor itself, still no luck.

    Options -

    1. Try another connector, I found this part number on another thread - 90980-12353

    2. Replace the whole wire harness OEM from the dealer - more expensive, still no guarantee.

    3. Shell out a few hundred or thousand $$$ to have a mechanic look into it.

Would appreciate some advice if you think I’m missing something or there’s something more ominous like an ECU problem, etc. I searched the forum and found similar experiences, but most were able to resolve the issue, as far as I can tell. I’m ok taking it to a mech if I can’t resolve it myself! Either way, it’s been a fun (and humbling) project with my daughter

    Thanks!

With PO348, I would look for additional chewed wires.

Also, check with your insurance to see if you are covered for rodent damage if you can’t track down the problem yourself.

Didn't see anything obvious, but a thorough run through at all the wiring above and below is definitely warranted. Great idea about insurance, didn’t even think of it. IMG_3306.jpg

Did you get wires matched correctly to pins?
