I added an OEM bed rail to the front bed wall.

I purchased two heavy duty Rago metal mounts with extensions, one for the gas with a RotopaX 3 gallon mount and one for the fire extinguisher using Quickfist attachments. . I made the other mounts from scrap hardwood I painted. I attached all the mounts to the three bed rails using T slot nuts I purchased from Amazon. I used different size quick fists attachments mounted on the wood brackets for the shovel, patch kit, tool roll and rope. I used traction board brackets also attached to a couple hard wood mounts.

It was a fun project and everything held up very well during an off road day at the local odd road park.

Rago, I had to drill lower mounting holes in the Rago mounts because the bed cover mounting system relocates the stock bed rails lower.

you can get an idea of the wood mounts I made plus the Quick fist brackets in this close up, low tech, nut'n special...but they work

Wood mounts! Pretty slick! I totally dig your set up. I have been thinking about how to get all that equipment underneath the tonneau and this is a GREAT blueprint. Thanks for sharing!

I made a bed cover out of 3/4" plywood, painted it black. Hinges in the middle. Mounts with home made T nuts/2x4 blocks into the bedside track. Comes off in 5 minutes or less! Has the benefit of not ripping, is sturdy enough to pile things on top.of, even screw into if needed to secure! Easily repairable with black tremclad!
