Ain't that the darn truth. Was at Food Lion earlier today and the eggs and bread were wiped out!

They didn't even have my coffee creamer or half and half I usually use

Just curious. How much are eggs up in your area ?

 

$3 a dozen for store brand large white eggs. $4-$6 for the fancier brown eggs.

I do have a co-worker that has chickens that sells for $2 a dozen. Bunch of people in the area have chickens and $2-$3/dozen is the going rate.

 

I miss the days when eggs were only 88 cents....

 

I always wondered what people were going to do with eggs if the power goes out.

I think my dad should have chickens again now that he's retired and has time to take care of them.

Although, I'd prefer ducks. They're cute.

 

Mebee cook them on their blackstone or camping gear.....

I don't have a Blackstone, but my gas/charcoal grill has a side burner that I could use my cast iron pans on...
