    Ain't that the darn truth. Was at Food Lion earlier today and the eggs and bread were wiped out! o_O

    $3 a dozen for store brand large white eggs. $4-$6 for the fancier brown eggs.

    I do have a co-worker that has chickens that sells for $2 a dozen. Bunch of people in the area have chickens and $2-$3/dozen is the going rate.

    I think my dad should have chickens again now that he's retired and has time to take care of them. :fingerscrossed:

    Although, I'd prefer ducks. They're cute. :)
