    Hi all,

I got some new wheels and tires on my 3G TRD OR DCLB. Wanted some advice on how much trimming for enough clearance and if my cab mount clearance looks too tight. I can definitely tell I rub on plastic a bit when cranking hard and doing steeper driveways, speed bumps, etc. I do some low-medium difficulty off roading, nothing crazy. I will be taking it into a shop that can do some major suspension cycling tests, but wanted to get the obvious plastic rubs taken care of first before more drastic measures.

Wondering if I should have gone with a more positive offset wheel. I had 265/75r16 on stock OR wheels before this. Figured going with 4.75" backspacing and a little wider wheel would be a negligible difference in scrub radius vs stock. However, I had read wheel width does not really play a factor in tire clearance....am I wrong?

For those curious, the tire measures just a hair over 33” mounted @ 35PSI. It measures about 32.5” on the truck @ 29PSI. More like a 33” than a 34” for sure. This tire is just a tad wider than 265/75r16 (+0.08" wider according to tire calculator).

    Specs:
Dobinsons IMS lift: ~2" lift in front and ~2" in the rear
    34x10.5-R17 Toyo AT3s
    17x8.5 Raceline wheels - 0mm offset - 4.75" backspace

    Alignment:

    Overall look:

    Driver mount clearance (full crank):

    Passenger mount clearance (full crank):

Definitely need to trim and/or heat mold the front liner:

Definitely need to trim a little of the bottom of the liner here:
