These do not appear to be an SAE compliant product, and do not appear to be legitimate fog lights, meaning they are illegal to run on the street, hazardous to other drivers and will be ineffective in fog.

Please review this thread for actual SAE compliant fog lights.

For more background, these appear to be an iJDMTOY product, aka MotoringMax, a known product counterfeiter.

These lamps were originally counterfeit copies of Baja Designs original SAE lamps though much lower performing and lower quality Chinese knockoffs. Yours truly alerted Baja Designs to the IP theft so they could take legal action against iJDMTOY. In response iJDMTOY redesigned the face and body to slide outside of the legal ramifications. Ironically the original Baja SAE lamps were not SAE compliant at all, and the iJDMTOY fake knock offs were copied off the flawed design, producing even lower performing failed lamps. Baja went back and provided free updated optics to fix the output to make it SAE compliant and improved performance in the latest gen optics. By comparison iJDMTOY doesn't understand SAE compliance in the slightest, there is no SAE Flood Fog beam, just more counterfeit garbage.




IP Thieves like iJDMTOY are toxic to the lighting industry, and any industry for that matter. This community should not support IP theft.

Can confirm. I have these exact lights. They are insanely bright and do not have any sort of cutoff. Pretty much the only use I've found for them is they kinda act as a silent horn when I flash them lol

Once again defend what? They are selling Chinese knockoff non sae compliant lights, so what. . You want the thousands of sellers on ebay and Amazon to defend selling shitty lights, too, no.
Look around cali raised site & they would be defending themselves for months with all the shit they sell. Yet people still buy from them, I was looking at ditch light brackets & their cost was like $60 for the same exact ones on Amazon for $23

Wow, I didn't realize how low effort the iJDMTOY fix was. Literally just a bolt on faceplate, remove it and they look just like the Baja lamp knockoffs that got them in hot water for IP theft with Baja.

 

In defense of their ditch light brackets i have had them on for damn near 4 years still no rust and they are sturdy. Just because they look the same online does not make them the same. But I have 0 defense notes on any of their lighting. Every one I have seen is cheap trash with no light pattern what so ever. Unless you classify everywhere except distance as useful
