Hiya tacomaworld, I plan to upgrade to the Bilstein 5100 setup with 883 OEM coils and level the front at 2.5", what would be the ideal rear lift to level it out? Appreciate any responses!

883's are gonna be real stiff unless you have a heavy front bumper, especially considering you've got a pre runner. The front diff, x fer case, etc.. all weigh something.

"level the front at 2.5" != level. That's +2.5" of lift. You are lifting the front of the truck 2.5". Leveling lifts are generally smaller shims 1/8-1/2" to correct for side to side differences or small differences in front to rear rake (aka level). Most vechicles (trucks especially) are designed to have a slight rake (rear end higher) to them to accommodate carrying stuff in the bed, or towing.

Options to match the rear would be an AAL + shackle, or a new leaf pack. You'll need new shocks, and an extended brake line, and LSPV relocation bracket as well.

That was a bad usage of words, that's on me. I definitely meant lift

Would OME Dakars be a good bet? I already plan to get 5100 shocks as well, I may go with the 881 coils though instead. If it'd be better to go with a 1.5 and a taller rear I'm also all for it.

My goal with this is to have a decent offroad clearance with a safe hauling experience for additional clarification. I'm not worried about anything like tires, I run 16s

Was also checking out AllPro Leaf Springs

+1 on going the 881 route

883s are still on the stiff side on my truck, and its 4wd with a steel bumper and a steel cable winch.
