I found this on my footwell this night:

I figure it fell from the dash but not specifically sure where. Has anyone seen this before and can help me put it back where belongs?

I vaguely remember it’s something about a spring on the brake or clutch pedal assembly.

Might be a sleeve of some kind on the brake pedal pivot. Is it greasy?

    Or the parking brake arm..

Not greasy. It looks to be a grommet, but odd that it just fell out.

Did you add any electrical modifications?
    If so, I’d backtrack those.

Funny, I found one those on my floorboard a couple of weeks ago …of course I probably threw it away cuz I know what it is now.

Who needs ai when TW can tell you the answer before you ask the question…
Just couple a months ago I had a sound coming from the passenger side firewall that sounded like sand sliding across a bucket filled with water, without giving it much thought I see a fresh post about the issue on here 10 minutes later.

Well I haven’t had a chance to put mine back in but I did read that it’s possible that it might fall out again. So what im thinking is when i do get mine back in there I’m goin to put a bit of black silicone on the edge/side to hopefully secure it to the tube from falling out again (worth a shot) anyways.
