    Also, I’m fucking jealous of the snowy hunt pics. I can’t tell you guys how much I love hunting in the silence of the snowy days. Got a taste of that in Colorado years ago and have sought it out ever since

    Next year I’m hunting Kentucky and PA for whitetail. Hate to say it but I’m skipping western elk for a season.

    Public land probably. Haven’t even started scouting online yet.

    I’m digging into all of my connections trying to find some private but not banking my money on it. I’m too broke to pay for a private ranch experience so it’ll have to be based off my charm and stunning good looks (and my company’s reputation :anonymous:)

    Where at in PA?

    Edit: BTW...this hunting in snow ain't all it's cracked up to be. Ya, yesterday was nice. 3" of soft fluffy stuff....so pretty and quiet. Then the next day, melts a little, freezes overnight. Walking on dry leaves in the middle of a drought in October is quieter.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    North of Scranton. My wife’s uncle has been hustling me to come up and hunt with him for the last few years. Wanted to do it this year but tags sold out by the time I got around to buying them.

    Saw that...kinda ticked that the their eliminating Vias from their product line. My son picked up a set of Guide Pants and Proximity Jacket in November, on sale. He really likes it. Alas, no jacket in Vias. Ya, I know camo don't mean squat, but when I'm dropping that kinda $$ I want what I want. May pick up a few more mid and base layers. I wear the hell out of them.

    Well guys, final grind of the season. Hopefully they’ll be feeding early before tomorrows storm. Saw 12 Thursday night including 3 that snuck in behind me at 20 yards.

    Regardless of how this season ends, it’s been a blast. Last Monday the 13th, walking out was a brilliant red, orange and purple sunset. To the east, big full moon was just above the horizon. All reflecting on 3” of snow. That alone was worth the trip.

    Like I told my wife, it’s better than I deserve.

    Well said my friend! I’ve got three days in Texas to shoot a pig and put some meat in the freezer then it’s the official end to my year too.

    wind sucks right now. Blowing out of the northeast so I’m relegated to the literal worst blind on my land :annoyed:
