In 2013 I brought a brand new Access cab 4x4 2.7L MT (first new vehicle purchase at that point in my life), and sadly sold that awesome pickup when I left Kauai in '21.

Looks like it might be time for another Tacoma. Looking most closely at a '22 at Carmax; I don't like the new Xtracabs.

Thats a really nice looking truck, I like the simplicity of the SR layout. The topper is pretty sweet to, could camp quite comfortably out of that!

Well, didn't buy what I was expecting to get. I'm more of an SR5 guy, but brought home this '22 TRD OR today, pre-dented!

Bumper is getting replaced, and the dent will live on as long as I own it! [Edit some months later…I did fix the dent.] I'm cheap, and don't mind spending thousands less for a "scratch."

Couldn’t find anything in my cursory search to answer this….is it possible to add bed lights to the existing capped cutouts in the rear of the bed, without installing wiring? It’s weird that an SR I looked at had this option, but this TuRD doesn’t, so maybe the wiring is already in place?

Edit: Access cabs don't have the lights, relay or the switch by default. Ordered what I needed and will post my experience when done.
Double edit: I guess TRD access cabs don’t have the light, but most SR5’s do.

To my knowledge you should be pre-wired but not positive.
