2022 Tacoma weird voice recognition issues

When head lights are turned on, the voice recognition system interrupts all audio, navigation, carplay, etc., telling me how to use voice recognition to change radio stations, make phone calls, etc. After 10 seconds or so it beeps and goes back to the radio, navigation, and carplay, then does the whole cycle again over and over. I can tell it to STOP, or hold the talk switch and that does not fix the problem.

I bought the car in August 2024 with 44,000 miles and this problem came with it. I've searched through the 312 pages of the Tacoma 2022 Navigation and Multimedia System Owner's Manual and I could find no help.

what has been added to the truck? thats not oem

 

try taking the Negative battery cable off briefly. Then put it back on. Clean the connection if needed.
