I have a question for all you electrical wizards.

I am looking to install a light bar under the bumper. I need amber and want to go with a budget friendly "reliable" brand rather than a Chinese knock off. I was looking at the 30" auxbeam light bar. But it has 6 modes. (https://auxbeam.com/products/zd000654?_pos=15&_sid=380230771&_ss=r)

It comes with a switch that has an on/off and a mode function that cycles through 6 modes. Is there a way to use an OEM tall switch with a mode function at all? I really am not a fan of the switch it comes with. Something like this..... (https://www.extremeterrain.com/cali...oem-style-switch-amber-white-tall-cr2382.html)

Or if anyone has any 30" amber light bar suggestions that will fit inside a 2nd gen bumper that would be great. I have seen abunch on Amazon but they look cheap and are all flagged for "freq. Returned" I want something that is sealed well and wont leak.

    Thanks!

    SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT

P.S. I know auxbeam products are made in china but after watching the reviews they seem to be decent quality and sealed well.

I have the DD 30 inch bar i hade to make my own bracket out of galvanized right angle metal. Then i drilled and tapped into the aluminum support bar. Plenty of room under there . Sorry this is the only pic i have. I installed it two years ago and had a baby since. No real time for mods anymore. IMG_2050.jpg

Looks dope! That’s exactly what I am hoping for. I wish I could afford the DD light bar.

As with many things in life, you will find that with automotive lighting products, you get pretty much exactly what you pay for. Auxbeam, CALIRAISED and just about anything on eBay and Amazon are inferior in light output, beam pattern, resistance to water intrusion and are just plain inferior overall quality. Sorry, but that's just the way it is. Ask me how I know that.

BTW, here's my former 2014 TRD Sport with aq 30" DD bar, DD SS3 Pro fogs and the Ultimate Headlight Upgrade.

Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
On the switch you presented, the locking tab (2 choices) has to be removed so it may turn into a momentary function. That way you'd get the light choice feature.
