This one looks just like my Jet 1100 and less than 1/2 the price. Getting good reviews online.

I do have a case I keep in it… but lately have been rather uninspired to play since I have to open the case to play it … if it were on a stand displayed then I’d have more motivation to spontaneously pick it up and play

Making your own does not need to damage the guitars (assuming you have 3+). Wood base will be easy to make stable, and use "flocking" where the guitar touches the guitar ... flocking is that fuzzy velvet that is on the inside of jewelry boxes. They also sell product like flocking but is applied as a uniform padding-sheet instead of sprinkled-on flocking. The product, and a specialty holder made to hold a gun with the sprinkled-on shaping itself to underlying wood frame.

EDIT: The gun is in the holder now, has been for years, never has been scratched.

Interesting idea… I ment disasterous as in if I didn’t get the balance of the upright support that holds a string swing .. then the guitar could come crashing to the floor

The wood form is up to you ... design what will be stable. The flocking just makes it makes a soft contact surface.

It doesn't have to be an expensive project if you wanted to make your own. I made a display case out of an old bookshelf that was left on the side of a road for trash. I essentially gutted the shelf out, used the wood for a slotted shelf midway up the case (to hold the necks of guitars), used the wood to create a box in the bottom of the case (used foam and pool noodles), and wrapped those pieces in velvet material. Then, I installed mirror all inside the case. It was probably a $30 project (aside from mirrors, but those were free to me). Added LED's eventually and the thing was beautiful AND cheap.

After looking into it for a floor stand I might just bought one. But the above cabinet conversion idea sounds ideal for mutiple guitars.

Not sure if by "guitar stand", a display case such as what I had was what you meant, but it is possible to build for cheap! It was a really cool piece, but freaking huge and heavy. Unfortunately, took a sawzall to it in 2024 to get it out of the room and into the scrap pile. Have sold all but one guitar over the years and the "music room" works better as an "office space" :pout:
Sadly enough, I couldn't even give it away to anyone. People would say they wanted it, then never showed up. Eventually decided I'll cut it up and take it out in pieces. It was literally just a multiple shelved book case in its first life. I took out all the shelves, used one of the existing shelves and cut some slots in it, and then built a short boxed tray to put in the bottom to hold a piece of foam with 1/2 cut pool noodles glued to it, wrapped in velvet material. It looks like the guitars are sitting on wood at the bottom, but they're comfortably on a 1/2 moon shaped pool noodle on each side above that wood box. Building something yourself (using a free or cheap gutted shelf/case as a template) would be super rewarding and unique, but its not always the best solution for YOU. If wall space is an option, some simple 2x4 or other flavor of wood "frames" around a simple wall hanger is also another creative way to display them. Something like this:
