I'm looking to get an exhaust system for my 2017 SR5. It's a 4 banger, 2 WD. Why? Because I can. Any recommendations?

Also looking for a performance shop in Sacramento, Ca. area. Thanks in advance.

    I have a 2002 4 banger 2WD. I think the engines are pretty similar.

    What I have on it:
    K&N intake
    LC Egineering powder coated header
    Magnaflow high flow cat
    Magnaflow muffler
A long resonator behind the muffler

    Why I did it:
I bought it used in 2008, I wanted a basic pickup, so I was lucky to find this 2WD, extended cab, manual everything.
The first time I hauled a motorcycle I had to drop a gear on a gradual highway incline near my house. I needed more power, so I did the above modifications.

    Results?
After the mods, I was able to leave it in 5th gear with the cruise set on that grade. So for me it was a very direct and tangible upgrade.

    Issues?
The first muffler was LOUD! Fart can obnoxious. Went back to the muffler guy and we decided on the bigger Magnaflow muffler and the long resonator behind. That changed the bark to a burble and it is perfect.

The high flow cat throws an O2 code. I messed with it a little, but quit caring about it after awhile because the damn truck just runs really good.

    Long term?
I've put about 200,000 miles on this setup and it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. I just ran up the west coast with a big bike in the back last month, that little engine ran great - awesome trip.IMG_4383.jpg

I got a Carven Exhaust, altered to axle dump. Sounds amazing!

I'm over here thinking about adding a resonator or something to completely silence mine.
