I'm pretty sure there's a passage in the Bible that talks about what happens to people who install Raptor lights. I think it's toward the front. (I'm kidding I don't care)

i luv lights but putting clearance lights on TACOMA is like putting a z71 sticker on the bedside.....but a light bar in the grill that helps vision is ok

    Welcome to TacomaWorld!

Don't worry about the Herd Mentality stuff: If you like them, put them on your truck, step back, and enjoy your work.

Part of the fun of doing an add-job like this is the satisfaction/feeling you get from from doing it yourself. When I installed a compass/outside temperature auto-dim mirror in my truck, I looked at a truck with one that was installed at the factory and took some notes. I did everything with the correct sized, split tubing wiring-loom protector: from the mirror inside where installed, all the way to the outside temperature sensor, and followed the original routing path under the hood. I matched the size of the plastic wiring protector sleeves along the route, and taped the ends as factory installed. Also: no zip ties!! ;) Where the wiring loom wouldn't fit in the current clips (under the hood), I got the correct size factory clips and used them on the install.

Even though no-one will probably ever see or notice it except me, it looks nice and gives me a smile when I see it! (and that's the best part of doing something like this.) If you decide to install some lights, send us a pic! :proposetoast:

This made me lol really hard… Raptor light ratio break down: 85% Tacomas, 10% actually Raptors, 5% other.

I never did or wanted to do it on my Tacos, but I did it on my RR and occasionally even question if I like it on the RR. Part of me feels like the base 3-series guy who puts an M badge or fake side vents on.

Do what you feel is right...for you.

Mine are smoked ambers and you can't see em' in the daytime.

The front end looks handsome with the vintage grill.
