Manual seat lifts…..how exactly do you mod.?

Looks a lot different than on 2nd or 3rd gen…….

anyone out there in TW found something that lifts the back of a manual drivers seat?

 

I too have been thinking of jacking the backs of my seats up a bit. There are some outfits like Desert Does It that have put kits together, but they're real pricey.

I was also in touch with forum member mrproduxn in December that machines a kit for the Gen3 Tacomas and other Toyotas. He's working on getting a kit together to sell to interested members. He charges about 1/3 of what Desert Does It charges. Read through his post on the issues related to doing the seat lift right if you want to DIY it.
