I did speak with @R.A.. since he's close to Wyalusing on the Iowa side and told him shenanigans are happening in the area.

Unfortunately we're getting pretty close to the finish line with the new baby. We have an official date and time for the procedure, Feb. 20th at 9:30am!

I'm definitely interested in possibly joining next year when I'm more prepared for cold weather camping.

Diesel heater setup and a sleeping platform will be in the works. In conjunction with a suspension upgrade.

It's a shame I won't really be able to use any of it until around August. At least I get more time to agonize over every little detail and make sure I do it right.

Gotta be honest though, a lot of these old used Decked systems I keep seeing up for sale are getting tempting......

I was in Eau Claire yesterday, so I decided to take the scenic route back and took a spin through Wildcat Mountain. The site I got is pretty small. In general, the parking areas on the sites aren't very big. I think we can get 2-3 vehicles on a site, but we probably don't want to push it too much. Here's a picture of site #2, with #3 in the background.

The driveway is a little steep, and the road leading to the park could be interesting if we have snow that Saturday.

Has everyone been filling out the poll? As of now it looks like we only have four campers on Friday and three on Saturday.

I agree. They just seem more appropriate in winter.

Still haven't talked with wife about this but planning to crash somebodies site Friday night-late as its 4+ hours to get there after work for me. Last time I ran over one of the picnic tables so hope I do better this year! Also crashing Saturday night. All depends on how bad the driving is at that point... 4.5 hours from Wildcat to Ashland so nasty driving is lots less interesting...

No worries, it looks like no snow for us this winter, only cold, you live for cold!

Black River Falls, Castle Mound Friday. I added it to the OP.

As of now, I have room for you.

I am fine with going to warm places to eat as well.

I put down a maybe for me. Not sure yet how my schedule will shape up for next Friday and the following Monday. Also not sure how much fortitude I’ll be feeling once the weather forecast becomes clear lol.

This is lame. I have way too much shit to do over the next few weekends. I really shouldn't go next weekend, but I want to.

Not sure what to do. :goingcrazy:
