    Hi all

Truck has 113000k miles and I am starting to feel like a slight vibration/scraping sound when driving the truck. Feel it more in the 30-50mph range; not so much at highway speeds. It does feel like it is in the rotation.

First thing I am going to try is to have the tires rotated and balanced. As FYI, the drive shafts, U joints and carrier bearing was replaced by Toyota at around 60k miles.

I have done 3 drain and fills on the transmission at 30k mile intervals.

The front wheels do not feel like there is a lot of play when lifted off the ground to rock back and forth. I can spin the wheel and it seems to spin freely; no roaring type sound.

Any other ideas as to what this could be?

    Thanks

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Tin mounted to the floor above the cat, maybe.

Tires were rotated and balance and it does drive more smoothly. Still sounds like a small grating sound up front. I would rather be pro active and replace the wheel bearing hub assembly. What do you recommend for the best replacement set?
