Looking for tips on the best way to have this repair done. I figure I'll remove the flare and take it to an auto body shop to do the job. How receptive would a paint shop be to this small job? Would they charge me for a full gallon of paint if they do not stock it?

Interesting suggestion. Ill need to find out how the cost of wrapping 4 flares compares to painting just one.

The OE replacement comes color matched? I figured it would just be primed.

I believe they do not sell pre-painted fender flares but could be wrong

If i were you, I would first try to clear it out with sandpaper, then just paint it with nail paint or whatever they call it.

Look on eBay and salvage yards and find a good used OEM in your paint color.

You could paint it with bed liner paint . Or try the touch up.

If you paint it yourself you have to go into it knowing the paint may not match. Like @t0p_d0g suggested looking at salvage yard is a good option or like @Rivermaniac suggeted paint them all with bed liner. I personally, would either leave it the way it is or swing by a local paint shop and see what it would cost for them to fix it.

Just a FYI, the fenders are textured, so any repair that is done to them will result in a small very smooth patch surrounded by texture.

Meso spare fuse holder. Aluminum gas cap holder. Genuine Toyota bed lights. Bed molle racks. Ammo case storage under hood. In-bed spare tire. Automatic underhood lights. Gooey glurp on frame.
I got into a similar situation with bumper covers on a Dodge truck when I was short on money. They were also textured. I ended up sanding the damaged part, then sanding all of the bumper covers to be about the same, ahem, texture as the, ahem, repaired area. Then I bought a can of Rustoleum plastic adhesion promoter from Amazon, and a couple of spray cans of SEM bumper black from an auto body supply store. SEM also sells adhesion promoter. It was a good five foot repair.

Yup, I understand that your fender flares match the body paint. If you paint all four, the truck will look symmetrical if not OEM.
