Bilstein 6112 weld in question?

Hey taco crew,
I just recieved my new bilstein 6112s today, getting ready to install and noticed that the weld from the pillar to the lower bushing is sub-par on both sides. WTF, maybe why they have a lifetime warranty, but really though!?! See pics. I'm replacing two Fox 2.0s the both fractured at the lower bushing weld point, so this does not give me any confidence. I would think with a company that has so much excellent reputation that they would at least complete the lower bushing welds on there mid range shocks, or am I missing something?

 

where is you buy them from?
Just because a weld “looks bad” doesn’t mean it is an inferior weld.
I’m more pissed about the sticker alignment.

Yeah, spacer lifts break front coilover lower mounts at the bushing, just like yours did. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/broken-coilovers.849145/
Don’t blame the welds.
