The fronts are definitely more discernable. I have had OEM, B5100s, and now I have adjustable ADS in front and the old B5100s in the rear. Weight has sooo much influence on the rear 2/3s of the truck and imo the only reason to upgrade higher than the 5100s is if you really want the flex and are willing to do the fab work for relocation, or if you're desert running and need a resi for fatigue. The 5100s should be a tiny bit harder than OEM, but again, springs and weight will be the captains.

Another important note is that without weight, many of the rear shocks are sitting with almost no up travel left. Mine do. You feel that on any dips in the road for sure. Realistically I do not like the Dakars. They lift more than they should imo, and they can't take a ton of weight in exchange. It's about a foot of travel for 0 to 2000lbs. I've always wondered what Deaver springs could do for me, but they are pricey.

Yeah they do. The ride is pretty good for springs. It's does allow for a bit more travel when doing obstacles say like in Moab. Nothing really helped much with the washboard except airing down. It looks pretty extreme, but the ride is more than compliant than you'd think. So is dampening, say during g-outs if you get caught going to fast in a bad spot. The fronts are oh so good. I'd like to move the shocks to the next position out on that mount but I'll get too limited on up travel and worry that the shock would top out. My fault really, due do poor planning. I got BAMF's last 1st gen shock mount. And the shocks from Accutune at the same time. After the tower went in the people at the shop said it had to be that position or the next holes out. Shocks were too long to go straight up. I had a bunch of money tied up and the work was done, so I gave it a go and it's been fine for me on road. Off road, over obstacles it will flex really well. It does look pretty exotic so there's that for ya. But not exactly planned.

Treyus30, i hadn't even considered these shocks might top-out! Now i've gotta go raise it and see where they stop. The kit *promised* they were long enough, and the lift is only 1-2", but still...

My minimal "lift" is currently a soft conglomeration from the OME add-a-leaf and the Dakar set: one companion leaf and bottom leaf removed from the Dakars, and the tiny bottom add-a-leaf, well...added, because this soft set-up's got a lot of sag. Added adjustable shackles for experiment flexibility and relocated the tailpipe above the spring.

If any of y'all are interested, i'm selling the OME 60065s i replaced with the softer 60063s. I can't sell them on TW's for-sale site until i've posted fifty times! I doubt i'll EVER post fifty times! So message me if you want 'em and i'll send you pics. They've got less than fifty miles, but i beat-up the paint pretty good extracting the bushings i needed when the '63s arrived with narrower ones.
