Yeah, everybody has their reasons. It's just bizarre that people worry too much and argue about what others choose to buy or don't buy, as if it's a major life accomplishment. These are all literally just pre-designed and pre-manufactured consumables, that none of us designed.

What was that old Cheryl Crow song lyric:

"It's not having what you want
    It's wanting what you've got"

Because the “real answers” are all just people:

    -being afraid of the turbocharger

-pretending inflation doesn’t /shouldnt exist, or

-being fake upset that a machine is complex while ignoring that they’ve long ago embraced more complex vehicles than the past, and that a low-rpm 4 cyl has fewer moving parts than the 3.5

The only differences between 2024 and 2025 Pros (that I am aware of) are:

    1. Mudbath replaces Terra
    2. Red front tow hooks
    3. No HUD
    4. $165 less expensive

If that's what they are doing it isn't going to be Toyota or 4G specific. Presumably they would hate a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, or 2024 F-150 Raptor, except the part about the 4cyl. The 2.7 4cyl, is less complex the the 2.4 turbo 4cyl.

I wouldn't even want to buy a Toyota after reading this thread.

Interesting color choice. Are you going to line the bed with potting soil and plant flowers in it?

There is a difference between "speaking truth" and being an asshole. As many views on a vehicle are perspective, its hard to classify that as "truth". Mods dont just "silence" someone for a disagreement.

I guess we will have to wait until it arrives sometime in April. It is a January 2025 production.

Not if I keep it long enough. I sold my 2020 OR for close to 40k with about 25k miles

More than I need but still not enough.
There being a difference between “speaking truth” and being an asshole is perspective. We can turn to any sitcom in history “honey does this dress make me look fat?” Truth and asshole sometimes go hand in hand.

This is a ridiculous example, as "Fat" can be someone's perspective. I now have the perspective that you have limited education, based on the example you have given, and may still live with your parents. If wanted to be an "asshole" I would engage in name calling and ban you from this thread. In lieu of that, Im going to suggest you drop this topic, and move on.

Looking fat, yes that is perspective but being fat is not. There is a definition of fat/obese based on criteria so it actually can be based in fact. Feel like I touched a nerve with my example but that does not negate the fact that “truth” and “asshole” can still go hand in hand. I’m sorry me replying back to you left you feeling the want to name call/ban me but they have done studies to show what happens when people are given power. But hey, it’s just my perspective that you may fall into that category. Oh and big thanks to my parents for buying me the best gen Tacoma Toyota has ever made and letting me live rent free in their basement.

Normally we don’t, but since I’m annoyed, I’m gonna silence @IdahoYota from this thread.
