Hey all, recently my blower stopped working and after all the troubleshooting I came to find that the pig tail at the motor was burnt up a little bit and my Heater Relay kept shorting a fuse. Upon changing the pigtail for the blower motor and the resistor (with wiring) and the relay I have heat again blowing through my vents. The only issue I have now is that on the lowest setting it blows low and on the second one it increases a bit but upon reaching the 3rd setting the blower slows down to as if it was on the 1st selection. Onto the 4th (highest) the speed ramps up to as it should. This is a brand new resistor with the wiring, did I mis-wire something or is this an issue with the new resistor or the motor it-self or even possibly the switch. (Resistor bought at UAP/Napa Auto Parts and came with the new connector/wiring) (Pigtail for blower motor purchased at toyota with a part number I found scouring these forums!)

On setting 4 (high), the resistor is bypassed.
All the current goes through the switch.
I'd pop the switch out and have a look at the White/Blue and White/Black wire pins.
They are known to get burnt too.

One other possibility is a Resistor.
Technically, the HIGH speed is tied to the resistor, but it doesn't use it.

What brand resistor did you use?

Yeah I just got the one they had on hand at napa didn't catch the brand, all the wires were gray lol so I matched each plug up and and wired it one by one in the same order as the original. I'll take a look at the switch though!
