Idk if I should put this here or BST but I have a 2005 TRDOR DCSB 4WD 6MT at 302xxx. I love my truck but need to move to a more fuel efficient vehicle for a long commute. My rig isn’t fully an overhauled off-roader as I’ve skipped adding rock sliders and upgraded bumpers but I have selected other tasteful mods for the suspension. Mods in follow-up reply

It has one accident where the car was not salvaged. Repairs were made and it is fully back to road worthy, the only remnant is seen in the front passenger side of the bumper beneath the light. Also the light has condensation I’ve yet to remove after this last few rains we’ve gotten locally. Frame has light surface rust in most places and minor rot in the typical problem area up front. Pics tomorrow

I’m hoping someone could tell me what they might pay so I can see what to list it for. I was hoping to list the ballpark of 13k but if that seems off please let me know. Located in Northern CA. Smogged 12/30 (has new lower cats as of 2022) and tags good until November 2025.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
You did not specify if it’s 4x4, passes smog or condition of the frame. Cheers dude

The mods wont really add value unless its someone specifically looking for those. Blue Book says 10.9-12 for that year, so at 13 youre a little high, but you can always start at 13 and negotiate

300k miles, 1 accident, some frame rot, $7-9k tops, if the rot you specified is actually like a hole that needs repair 5k.

Not sure the point of this thread.

I am not looking to buy it. I already have a Tacoma. That is why I’m here. Same goes for anybody else.

if you have a vehicle for sale, post it for sale. If you get your asking price, you get your asking price.
If you do not get your asking price, then you gradually lower the price in increments until it sells. The market dictates that. Pretty simple. No amount of forum posts is going to change that.

$13k for a 20 year old vehicle with over 300k miles and frame damage is absolutely bonkers

I wouldn’t pay it, but if someone does then congrats to you

I think that was the point of that. Showing op that trucks in his area with 100k less miles are selling for what he expects to get for his.

As mentioned earlier see if you can find other Tacomas in your area that are up for sale and see what people are asking for. Location can make a difference too depending on where you are at. What is going in one part of the country might not be going for in another part of the country.

Go to a junkyard, find a rack, sell it for 8 to 10k.

    Some gardener will buy it.

Thanks for all the replies yall. To the point as to why make the post, it’s because there’s so little posted on marketplace etc with my mileage that seeing what other people who have tacomas might think it worth even though you aren’t the market. Everyone here has one but I suppose the flaw would be we all think our own’s worth more than it probably is. Everyone has experience here though seeing what might decrease or increase value based on what I stated though, that’s why I asked for everyone’s input

I wouldn't pay 15k for my RC with 40k miles on it.
