With the switch that comes with the harness, once it's hooked up it's always hot correct?
Can an oem switch be used and ran to the washer motor using a add a fuse so the fogs will only come on in acc or when the truck is started.

I'm just trying to find out how the switch is powered.

The beam pattern is set and all you have to adjust is where they aim. They are super easy to adjust. One screw on the bottom and one on the side (both on the back of the light) if I remember correctly. Just park on a level surface, measure/mark the desired height on astick, measure the distance from the front, and turn the screw until the bright line on the pattern sits at the mark on the stick.

Wondering if I can use the nipple to run wire through the firewall.

If not are these holes in the carpet area to drill through?

Your second picture goes into the windshield wiper area - so that is a NO. The Cowling.

Your first picture on the right of picture, which I believe is down in reality is indeed a nipple from inside to outside. My understanding is you clip off the sealed end and pull your wiring through. The in-the-cab end of that I couldn't find myself. Perhaps others will have very first-hand experience.

Almost got it done today, took about 4 hours, I just need to drill a 3/4" hole to add the switch.

It probably would have been faster if it wasn't 28 degrees and dark.

Honestly kind of a pain in the ass lol, but I hate electrical.

These are led fog pods so I dont know how you would mount them and how they would look on a Tacoma but I added them to my 05 civic and I really like them. The hardware is good quality, together they draw slighy under 2 amps so I didn't have to install a relay(piss off unhappy relay lovers), the light threw is great, they have that nice heavy quality feel.

I had a pair in my old truck and l didn’t remove them( :anonymous:) when I traded it for the truck I now have. I have another pair on order and hope to get them soon. 8 week back order :annoyed:. Waiting patiently :playball:. I love them . Great in inclement weather

I used the Morimoto 2 pod with switch harness.
It wasn't to bad, I do recommend not doing it in the dark though lol
