    Hello,

I'm currently driving a 2007 Tacoma V6 Prerunner with a little over 135,000 miles. I love it to death but am having some issue's that I can't quite figure out what's wrong.

A couple days ago I noticed a squeaking sound when I'm accelerating. It's much louder and noticeable when starting from a complete stop.

I'm fairly confident it's not the serpentine belt or pulleys because my truck sounds fine when idling. Just when accelerating.

I'd rather not pay $100 at the mechanic for a diagnosis when I'm sure someone on here can help me out and set me on the right path to resolving this issue.

I recorded a quick spin around the neighborhood to try and capture the sound I'm talking about. If anyone knows what my issue is I would appreciate their input greatly.

The pitch appears to match the rotation of the driveshaft. I would suspect a u-joint or carrier bearing. Lift up the rear and put it in drive and have a helper gas it; that should eliminate a diagnosis of the front wheel bearings and bushings.
