Mint. Thought I was going to have to do the Camry, but it turns out the windshield seal just wasn't done properly by safelight and that's what the puddles on the floor were from :spy:

Yeah you want the hook side only. I trace it out on the back of the adhesive stuff, cut it out, and then stick it on the back of the patch. It's worked well overall, but a few failed here and there. I'm probably going to start going through and redoing them all on the machine and just pick away at them.

The industrial strength Velcro grabs the headliner much better than the standard Velcro.

My dad's 84 Olds Firenza (Chevy Cavalier wannabe) had the same design, props on that but man the heater hoses were a pile of suck to replace. Guy at the parts counter chuckled and handed me a bunch of hoses, couplers, and clamps then said "here's all you do" and assembled the thing in front of me. Thing had about 3 turns on one hose. Jeez..

Anybody happen to be sitting on a set of proefx mirrors with signal and defroster. I think it got knocked off by the salt truck that sped down the road last night. I had salt rocks on top of my truck 10 ft back from the driveway and salt 50ft down the driveway. I don't use salt anywhere but my food so it wasn't me lol. I could swap to my stock mirrors but those don't have defrosters in them

The 1978-83 GM "A" platform (Chevelle, Skylark, Cutlass) require the removal of the right fender to change the heater blower motor.

I've never had a problem with Safelite, but I've read a lot of horror stories of late, including on Tacomaworld. Next time I need a windshield replaced I think I'll just decline the offer from the insurance company to use Safelite and find a reputable local shop instead.
