Deer hunting BS thread

For clarification, soupy chili does sound gross.. When I say soupy, I mean like potato-soupy consistency lol. Not so much runny, but also not so much spaghetti saucey, just a healthy amount of "runny" for the crackers to soak up.

You have leftovers on second day?

 

My wife makes a lot at one time, had them Saturday for supper, Sunday for lunch and supper, lunch today and will have them again for lunch tomorrow. I'll be tired of them after tomorrow

 

I may or may not have an eating disorder.. so nope. No leftovers in my house

 

Is it still "left over" if you purposely cook more than 1 meals worth? We purposely do giant batches of chili, chicken & dumplings, lasagna, etc. Some things really are just better the next day.

 

i could destroy some chicken n dumplings...
We usually make a regular pot then i eat leftovers for few days also.

Now I didn't know you Alabama boys cooked up a good roux, maybe a little cajun in the bloodline.

Mo' hotta, mo' betta'... That's what Scooby doo zombie island taught me in the mid to late 90's anyway. Gravy is also like my 2nd favorite condiment, so I'm pretty familiar lol

 

I like chili so thick you can flip yer spoon over and it sticks to it.

Double Like. my breakfast at work all weekend was Ritz crackers,cheese,deer bologna(deer summer sausage)

 

I did a crockpot of deer beef stew last nite,i always freeze a couple bags of stew meat chunks from deer i kill, this is my taste bowl to check seasoning. came out well.thin enough for crackers to soak up broth.
