    For clarification, soupy chili does sound gross.. When I say soupy, I mean like potato-soupy consistency lol. Not so much runny, but also not so much spaghetti saucey, just a healthy amount of "runny" for the crackers to soak up.

    My wife makes a lot at one time, had them Saturday for supper, Sunday for lunch and supper, lunch today and will have them again for lunch tomorrow. I'll be tired of them after tomorrow :D

    Is it still "left over" if you purposely cook more than 1 meals worth? We purposely do giant batches of chili, chicken & dumplings, lasagna, etc. Some things really are just better the next day.

    I did a crockpot of deer beef stew last nite,i always freeze a couple bags of stew meat chunks from deer i kill, this is my taste bowl to check seasoning. came out well.thin enough for crackers to soak up broth. IMG_4806.jpg
