    Well... it exists.

I already had everything to make it so for the 3 minutes it took, I figured it was worth a shot.

Not surprisingly, it's very eggy. Other than that, meh.

I won't be making it again and I don't recommend trying it.

I’ve made it (a lot) and you are right it is eggy. So I modified the recipe and got it to the place where it tasted okay. I even got creative with the microwave container

Recipe included if interested (4.84 gr per slice)
Here is the problem…every time I added or substituted ingredients it changed the carb ratio. So why would I waste my time eating something that doesn’t taste as good as the real thing if I’m only shaving a carb or two? Haha it’s just not worth it in my book.

I will say that I can make a fantastic low carb almond flour cake using a similar but modified recipe. While I didn’t do it every day it was a mental life saver during birthdays and holidays. 4.85 grams of carbs per slice. (FWIW I don’t count net carbs when I’m on my modified routine. I just don’t count the sugar alcohols (erythritol or allulose) because they are processed differently in your system.

    New recipe
Hawaiian sweet rolls that combines almond flour and whey protein isolate (isopure) and sugar substitute 6.5 grams per roll

They are a little dense (think cornbread consistency)

Great flavor. Would be great with soup or modified carb white chicken chili.

    Edit: Day 2
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve tried a recipe and it’s fine right out of the oven but the next day…straight into the trash. So I stored these in zip lock bags last night. Cut one in half and toasted it this morning. With a little butter it was a perfect breakfast muffin. Looks like this will be a recipe that I can work with.

Second attempt in a silicone loaf pan.
Great flavor, good texture, still a little dense but not bad. Will make a good sandwich bread. 3.4 grams (1.5 net)
