I got hit in the face by two snowflakes while I was working on the truck around lunchtime. That's was enough for me

Knowing we probably won't get another snow I had to go wheeling this weekend.

The view from the campsite. The hill climb to this spot had a really icy patch. My buddy with the gladiator had to winch up it. (I saw him struggling and put it in 4 low and locked the rear before hitting the spot and went up with with no problem.) So now we have that Jeep vs Toyota joke. Coming back down the mountain was a real pucker moment. When you hit the ice you'd just slowly slide down the trail. But we made it home with no causilities. Definitely going to be going back as often as possible.

Anyone have an Audi hookup or just know someone whose good to work with? We've come to the conclusion that it's time to move on from the Q5 after the most recent road trip. Been an absolutely phenomenal vehicle, but with the little one and the two dogs, small as they are, it's just not quite big enough. On the hunt for an SQ7. 2020-2023 model most likely. Would like something with 40,000 miles or less.
We get a decent discount at Hendrick Lexus through my wife's work, but they don't seem to get many Audis coming through. Willing to travel for the right car/dealership. Already have a buddy at CarMax keeping an eye out nationally with their inventory.

ECGS will do it if you drive up to NC, or you could have the diffs mailed down to you and have someone local do the install. You just have to pay up front the money you'll eventually get back on a core charge that way.

I drove mine to Vermont after getting 5.29s. It isn't that bad really. Just vary your speed on the highway and take a 15-20 minute cool down break every 50ish miles.

Driveway install. Rear is easy. Front is a bit more involved. Not familiar with first gens, but I can't imagine they're much different. 2ng gens just need some jack stands and like 4 wrenches. I'd say come do it next to me in the driveway, but the gasket maker has to cure for like 24 hours or something before it sees fluid i believe.
