Took the taco to work this morning and it was all 100% perfect, drove perfectly fine and started no issue. I go out to take it to lunch and it doesn’t crank or anything. Black on all the screens, dome lights come on super faintly. Assuming it’s just a loose terminal or something, hoping it’s not a draw. Got a new battery probably 2-3 months ago. Tried jumping it, and it cranks, just extremely slowly. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, any help is appreciated!

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Try cleaning the cable end clamps with a wire brush made for that purpose & reinstall.

Check terminals, have new battery tested, and disconnect any after market electrical doodads,,, right down to a phone charger.

Sometimes even with new batteries, truck may still be drawing from somewhere such as OBD, etc.

Use a multimeter to check for draw while parked. It should be pretty minimal.

Rock lights were busted out but still connected to the battery, so I took that off. Also took off wiring for an aftermarket horn I took off which could’ve been drawing to the relay. I put a new battery in so we’ll see if it dies again. Thanks for the help this thread can die now lol

Excuse my stupidity but how do I check for a draw? I’ve only ever used that to check voltage..
