My 3rd brake light led for my evilmfg went out and since they not in business anymore, does anyone know where I can get a replacement or the part number?

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Well, now that you've posted a picture for reference, I guess I was wrong in the other thread. You may have to remove the brake light and pull the LED out to get a part number off of it to try to cross reference.

How is that light even legal?

    in simple terms, it's not.

any official vehicle lighting assembly needs to go through a very rigorous approval process. basically something only OEM's can afford to do. and then the lens is stamped with the certification.

there was one set of aftermarket hid projector head lamps for the mercury marauder/crown vic that the brand went through all the official channels to get it properly approved for road use. they ended up minimally selling because the market wasn't there for the price he needed to charge to cover all the certifications.
