Weigh-in: Anyone know where I can weigh my truck, hopefully on the north raleigh side? Just need a quick scale and don't need signatures or paperwork. Thanks in advance.

 

Can do that at any landfill for free plus drop off some garbage if you have any needing hauling off

 

Or take some scrap metal to a recycling place.

Any pilot/flying J/loves/other truck stops will have scales too but you’ll have to pay the fee. Don’t think it’s too much though

 

Hey everyone-

New to the Wake Forest area (town, not college). Looking into doing a refresh on my 2004 Tacoma.

Broad 3 step plan is:
1) under the hood
2) suspension
3) aesthetics

I have average mechanical inclination but do not have the time nor space to do much of this myself.

Can anyone recommend to me a shop (or shops) that have specialization in 1st gens maintenance and suspensions? I want to find a mechanic who has experience in 1st gens to properly deal with any nuances that arise after adding aftermarket parts.
