Sorry to hear about your friend Bill, have to agree with your thoughts about it though!

Stopped at a buddy's business today, asked his son in law where he was and was told that he hasn't been at the business for a couple of months due to his wife being ill, didn't pursue it any further, but doesn't sound good.

Will be waiting Kurt, hope everything turns out for the best

 

Good afternoon. PC is up and running with all the apps I care about installed. I had to do a total reinstall of Win 11 but I did have a data and file back up. Easy process but it took a lot of time to update both Win 11 and the PC.

 

Bless you for adopting any age dog. My wife and I started adopting and fostering 13 or 14 years ago. Many dogs have come here to "crash on our couch". Currently we have 5, 4 residents and 1 foster. We're only allowed 4 residents. So we say our fifth dog (Bowie) is a foster to keep the powers that be at bay. But Bowie, Bo, Bo Bo ain't going nowhere.

We were going to start adopting Pit Bulls. My buddy has a Pit Bull rescue. On the way we found out small Chihuahua mixes (Chiweenies) were a much larger population. So that's what we started with. Eventually we fostrred any breed that needed a temporary home. We've loved every second of it.

Cuteness overload indeed. Chucho? We had a Chancho. 17 years! Yappolities!!!

Hi again from Southern California, that part that hasn't burned (this year).
A Santa Ana wind-driven fire swept through this senior community in December of 2017, destroying at least 1/3 of the mfg. homes here. People lost all their possessions, treasures, photos, clothes, everything. They had no warning as it arrived so quickly... sparked from a catalytic converter on the nearby freeway (they said).
I am hoping "lightning" won't strike twice, here!

Thank you for the rescues. I am more of a cat guy now, I have owned pups in the past. Best watch dogs ever. No one is coming on to your property without you knowing about it.

Good morning. PC is back up and running better than ever. All apps are loaded and the database restored. Took most of the day yesterday, a lot of time waiting for updates, but worth it. A little warmer today at 25 degrees this morning. Going to cook some chicken on the kettle grill today. @lynyrd3 hope the test come out great with no surprises.
