I have an update on the Coverking covers.

I ordered on Dec 2 with production times listed as 3 days. They still have not shipped. I called before Xmas and they said “those quoted times are shipping times not production times “. That is simply not true. Check their website. It says “production times”. Nevertheless they said it would ship by 12/31. It did not.

Now Coverking’s “customer service” tells me that production times “are not guaranteed”. And also, “they get backed up around the holidays”. Great, but why does their website say “Current Production Times” are 2 business days!?!

I’m not asking them to guarantee 2 days. So if they estimated 2 days and it’s 4, I understand the answer that lead times are not guaranteed. But we’re talking about them saying it’s 2 days when in reality it’s 6 weeks.

Coverking has been disingenuous this whole time. I no longer want this product and I am looking to cancel my order.

Theyre just seat covers, figured you chose them due to quality of the product, be patient....
    But, that's just me...

EKR black leather from Walmart. Freshly installed in the pic two months ago. Once they warm up, they mold to the seat better. I think I paid $180 during black friday deals. Recommend.

$150 is a good deal through the EKR website above. Definitely feel premium.

We've used CalTrend (https://www.caltrend.com) neoprene seat covers on our last 3 vehicles and I can't recommend them enough. They're on the pricey side, but they're proudly made in the USA, customized for each vehicle model, have extremely snug fit and are bomb proof. After 8 years of daily use sliding in an out of my F150's driver's seat, they're just now showing physical wear on the driver's side seat bolster. Aside from coffee/drink/food stains from many thousands of miles of family camping and road tripping to see family/friends dispersed along the eastern seaboard the other seats are all in great shape with no visible signs of stretched stitching, physical wear, etc. On our 2022 RAV4 they got the pattern wrong on the rear seatback cover. I sent them pics of the problem areas and returned the bad cover. In 2 weeks they'd redesigned them, sent me a new set and paid for shipping both ways. They really stand behind their product and support their customers.

Anyone have any experience with seat cover solutions?
They Instagram and TikTok advertisements make them look amazing for what they are…
Seem costly but if quality is what they’re claiming, might be an option…

have to do something as those two tone, black and gray cloth seats aren’t going stay clean long-term no matter how careful you are…
I have no experience with these, that’s why I’m asking…
I know of one guy on Instagram that has them, “im.klowd” in red…
He didn’t like how the back covers fit…

I went with a set of really fancy gucci looking Giant Panda brand seat covers from Amay'zon. They were a whopping $49 USD!!! Yeah thats right, I'm a baller and have that amazing synthetic leather smell to prove it! I can't keep the ladies away from my truck because of the sheer awesomeness of my badass new seat covers.
They work and I had more pressing things to spend on like stereo and lights. Oh and a TRD Pro grille and those fancy fang lights/turn signals. My son was making fun of me saying my truck was going to look like one of those japanese dekotora trucks, LOL.

Better than nothing & they look nice..
But for me, deal breaker as they dont wrap the base & offer full coverage...
So long term, they start shifting out of position, dont offer enough protection as the side edge of the seat is "high traffic" area...

    Not much really. Just touches.
I have Katzkin leather seats. I put them in every car I buy if it doesn't have leather. 3 Tacomas and a Corolla Cross. All 2-tone. In Colorado, I added heat. In Florida - not.

I'd go for leather if I lived in cooler climes. However, here in GA leather in the summer is just too uncomfy for me as I wear shorts mostly. I've done the cloth neoprenes from Caltrens in the past and they were great. However, the Toyoguard that came with my Tacoma guarantees the seat covers so I'm holding off on getting them for now. I also have the heated seats so I don't really want covers inhibiting that. Pro/con thoughts are welcome!

Are you able to install them yourself or do you have to take it in for a katzkin dealer to install?

Did you remove them from your 2018 or are these new covers specifically for the 24?

I left the seat covers on the 2018 when I traded it in,the new ones that I installed on the 2024 are made special for that year
