    Hello
New to the site. we just had a snow event and i ran my truck in 4h for a whole day, snow and ice packed underneath the truck. when i took it out of 4wd, noticed a ticking sound like a stick in spokes. Does not do it all the time, just wandering if it had something to do with the 4wd.Thanks for any advice....Maybe my ABS system???

Welcome to Tacoma World. First thing I'd check if there is/was snow and ice packed all underneath is that there isn't a chunk of ice or something stuck between the wheel and brakes or anything else that spins. Does the sound happen when it turns? Might be a chunk of ice hanging down by the tire and only hits it when you turn. Look at that stuff first because if the only thing that changed was you playing in the snow then that's the simplest explanation. After you rule that out then you can start diagnosing further if it's ABS, 4x4, or something else causing it. Good luck.

Does it tick more when you are turning?
